Merry Christmas to each and everyone!!

Hi everyone! Umm, yeah.. It's been a year.. Gosh. Sorry about that, should have put a 'On Hiatus' note up, but real life caught up on me. Just came to check my account, wasn't sure it would still be here :D

So I'm heading for my fifth year in vet school now. Just did my first operation two days ago. I castrated a cat :) It was so cool! (well, the cat might find it less cool...poor thing)

Anyway, a big HI! to everyone! Hopefully I'll have time to update my journal again. From time to time :)

Yay, we're flying to Bristol tonight!

I haven't even packed yet and I have so much to do, but at the moment I'm more concerned about the meeting I'm having with one of my professors in half an hour... That man can be quite intimidating. He's not evil or anything, I'm just really nervous when he's around. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to face my fears :D Actually he kind of reminds me of House. I mean he's not good looking ;P or that mean or brilliant. But he has that sense of "I know everything you don't and I'm going to tell you just that."

So I'll be seeing you guys later.

I decided to watch the Oscar gala live this year, which means I'll have to stay awake from 3am to 7am..

I've got:

-3 liters of Coca-Cola
-1 bag of chocolate candies
-1 bag of salmiakki candies
-1 set of microwave popcorn
-pizza

Luckily I'd only have two hours of lessons tomorrow so I can (probably will) skip them if necessary. :)

I don't mind staying up, but I hate that tune they play during the commercial breaks! It's so annoying..

I made it. Yay! For me the biggest surprise was Jack Nicholson's hair. What's up with that??

I've been away for.. erm.. I think almost a month now. That is, I haven't been using my computer much lately. But, I did make this on the train during my trip back to Helsinki.

Wohoo! I just passed one of the biggest exams of my studies. It was my first try too! (Although, I should have done the exam almost two years ago.. But, due to some, erm.. difficulties it took me some time) I'm just so happy ^_^

Also, I'm printing some T-shirts for myself. Currently, I'm trying to make a T-shirt using a stencil I made based on this picture. I could have chosen an easier one I guess.. Oh, well. The shirt only cost me 5€ and I didn't use a lot of paint. (The shirt is currently drying and I haven't removed the stencil yet..)

89 years and running!

I know it's a bit early for this (well, not technically), but I plan on not opening my computer tomorrow.

Maybe.. I think.. ^_^

A bunch of us vet students are going to Bristol in early March and I decided to go as well. Though, I'm still waiting an answer from the trip organizer, because I'm not sure if there are any places left.. I hope so!

We'll be staying with local students so the whole trip will only cost about 200€. I'm not exactly sure about the program, but who cares, I'm going to Bristol! ^_^ I think I've never been there before..

But this one almost made me cry a little.
